Meridian (Mira) Azura is a New Hampshire-native illustrator. Working primarily in mixed media & collage, Mira combines layers of watercolor, ink pen, colored pencil, gel pen, gouache & colored papers. Influenced by the idea of “art as magic”  and “story as medicine”, Mira uses bright color, bold pattern & sacred symbolism to illuminate her art. Much of the imagery for her work is inspired by personal visions from dreams, meditations, and memories of other lives. She creates as a form of self reflection, to share story & wisdom, as prayer & blessing, and as the planting of dream-seeds. Mira created WANDERLING STUDIO in 2024 as a vessel to support her life through her creative work, and to share this expression with a wider audience.
